Film & Arts Network is a channel that seeks to reposition film as an art form. The challenge is to communicate and represent film as an artistic language and active movement rather than focus on the commercial aspects of movies. The graphics for the show Big Bangs (above) are stark black and white and take form as musical notations that mutate, multiply, move away, and then reappear.

The poster created to promote the network (above right) features the abstract play of transparent surfaces and typographic elements. A subdued palette of primary colors and grays subtly enhances the transparency effect of the floating planes of information. Both projects are sophisticated modern design solutions.
