Ergonomics

The goal of this project was to design an ergonomic sander for our chosen target audience

I took account of the ergonomics of the hand into the design

I started making different set-up foam mockups and chose the most convenient one to use

Sketching

I started to sketch different shapes after picking a mockip

I talked to my target audience(daily sander user) about my design and got feedback for my designs.

Using this feedback, I iterated my designs

Prototyping

For the new Mystic Boarding surfline2023 in designed a rubber case. Designed for a metal roof rack buckle system which prevents scratching.

I made my own surfboard!

I went through a lot of research and had some help from a friend. I learned from his knowledge and could apply that to my project. Here you see partly how I went through the shaping process. Thereafter I went on to the glassing using fiberglass and epoxy. I also printed my own logo on my board. Love using my board.
