Development, Construction and Production of Handling Equipment for Facade Cleaning A customer’s building had a very unusual facade. In order to ensure safe cleaning – also at wind speeds of 40 km an hour and above - special handling equipment was necessary. The installation was intended to be controlled together with the building maintenance unit at a later date. Customer’s requirements from the system: - Safe cleaning and manipulating on the facade, also in strong winds - Platform-independent design of handling equipment - Complete system from a single source Services provided by Roogalee: - Concept and design of the equipment - 3D models in SolidWorks as well as FEM calculations - Workshop drawings - Production planning and purchasing - Rough assembly and testing incl. on site test at customer - Painting and final assembly - Interface specifications to the adjacent system (crane) - Delivery to the customer - Final product inspection at the customer together with adjacent systems
