Oven-baked chicken Caprese

INGREDIENTS (for 4 persons)

2 chicken fi llets 200 g of diced tomatoes 1.5 ball of mozzarella 6 cherry tomatoes 1 clove of garlic 1 few sprigs of fresh oregano 1 handful fresh basil 1 handful of grated parmesan cheese pepper, salt, oil

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 220°C.

2. Rub the chicken fi llets with oil and season with salt and pepper.

Place them in an oven dish.

3. Finely chop the oregano and stir it into the diced tomatoes. Crush the garlic and add it. Add pepper and a generous pinch of salt to taste. Stir everything together well.

4. Spread the tomato sauce over the chicken fi llets. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.

5. Then lower the oven temperature to 200°C and remove the baking dish from the oven. Spread the mozzarella on top, followed by the parmesan cheese.

Halve the cherry tomatoes and place them on top. Bake for 10-15 minutes, until the mozzarella is well melted and just gets a golden layer.

6. Remove the baking dish from the oven and garnish with fresh basil.

Serve immediately.

The chicken Caprese from the oven is now ready, enjoy!
