Well on arrival it was not what most competitors wanted, Cold, Raining & Windy. The exact opposite of what we encountered on our last visit here in 2019, which was very hot and in the mid 30’s. But NO where near as bad as 2016.

Because most of us started this way, which is one of the great innovations of our club.

Those that did not book a Garage, scampered to find shelter, The Scrutineering Shed became “Coxy’s Shed” as Phil very quickly staked a claim, with a number of others following suit, myself included.

Others found shelter in their Cars or the Club House or imposing their hospitality on those that did have a garage.

The briefings were held in the shelter of the Club House, with new members welcomed and the run order confirmed to be Groups 1,2 & 3 and then Entrée Class to follow. Over the Three layouts, “The Figure 8”, The Outer Loop and last The Short Track. A Conga line was held for those who wished to refresh their memory and for all participants in Entrée Class. There were 34 entrants in Competition Class and a Full Field of 10 in Entrée Class. Many for their first foray into a PCV Track Event. They would have thought “what have I got myself
