2015 - Something to Live For a finalist in The American Prize. 2015 - The Good Dr. Windhager winner of The Secret Opera composers’ competition. 2014 - Suicide (after Grosz) winner of Yardena Alotin composition competition. 2014 - Invited for a Yaddo Residency in order to revise and orchestrate Something to Live For. 2013 - Lifespan of a Fly Winner of Atlanta Opera 24 Hour Opera Competition. 2013 - Something to Live For chosen to participate in Fort Worth Opera’s 2014 FRONTIERS showcase. 2013 - Boston Metro Opera Main Stage Award for Something to Live For. 2011-2012 - American Opera Projects fellow in Composer and the Voice program. 2011-2014 - Manhattan School of Music teaching fellowship. 2011 - Requiem for the Living Finalist in 2011 Opera Vista Festival Competition. 2010-2011 - Manhattan School of Music Dean's list. 2011 – Nine Thoughts After Ammons’ wins the Jorden Berk Prize. 2010 – Outstanding Music and Lyrics nominee for Conspiracy: A Love Story (MITF). 2010 – Suicide receives an honorary award from New York Composers Circle forth annual competition.

Selected Recent Performances 2020 (June) - Fanfare, Prayer, and Celebration - to be performed by the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra. 2019 - Suicide (after Grosz) – performed in VOX FEMINAE festival. (Tel-Aviv) 2019 - When He Was Good – a new chamber opera; commissioned and produced by IMVAJ (Israel). 2018 - Childhood Sketches - commissioned and performed by the Thelma Yellin Wind Orchestra. 2018 - Lifespan of a Fly - produced by Fayetteville Opera (AK). 2017 - Lifespan of a Fly - produced by Opera On Tap as a part of New York Opera Festival (NYC). 2016 - Four Children’s Songs (voice and guitar) multiple performances under Queens New Music Festival. 2015 – The Good Dr. Windhager (vocal-chamber) performed by The Secret Opera (NYC). 2014 - Lifespan of a Fly (short opera) produced at Hartford Opera Theater (CT). 2014 - Requiem for the Living (one-act opera) receives a full production by Thompson Street Opera (KY). 2014 - Something to Live For (excerpts from a full length opera) showcased at Fort-Worth Opera (TX). 2014 - The Good Dr. Windhager (vocal-chamber) commissioned and premiered by Qube Quartet (OH). 2013 - Lifespan of a Fly (short opera) performed at Atlanta Opera (GA). 2013 - Something to Live For (full length opera) workshoped and performed at the JCC Manhattan (NY). 2013 - Dell’arte Miniatures (chamber) commissioned and performed by the Israeli Chamber Project. 2012 - Ambiguous Kafka performed in a fully staged performance at Manhattan School of Music (NY). 2012 - Excerpts from Something to Live For, opera in progress, workshoped by American Opera Projects and by Voice Exchange Chorus (NY).  2011 - Conspiracy! A Love Story participated in NY Midtown Theater Festival and nominated for “best music and lyrics”, among four other nominations (NY).  2011 – Sonatina for Mandolin, Guitar, and Harp premiered in Le Poisson Rouge by Prototip Trio: Avi Avital, Nadav Lev, and Sivan Magen (NY).
