IN PARTE È VERO, CERTAMENTE, MA IL PERCORSO DALL’IDEA ALLA CONCRETEZZA DELL’OGGETTO FINITO NON È DEL TUTTO LINEARE, TANTOMENO SEMPLICE. PERCHÉ OGGI VALE TUTTO E IL CONTRARIO DI TUTTO. LE TECNICHE DI PRODUZIONE DA UN LATO FACILITANO IL PROCESSO CREATIVO, DALL’ALTRO CONDIZIONANO IL RISULTATO FINALE. E ALLORA IL SEGRETO È CREDERCI, NON PERDERE DI VISTA L’OBIETTIVO, RAGIONARE CON ELASTICITÀ E LIMITARE I COMPROMESSI FRA POESIA ED EFFICACIA, FRA INTUIZIONE E REALTÀ. NON È POCO, NON TROVATE?
HOW DOES AN IDEA BECOME SUCCESSFUL Some people still think “designer = artist”. Partly true, sure, but the path leading from the idea to the final product is non-linear, and not easy. Because today everything is true, and its opposite. Production techniques can, on one side, facilitate the creative process, but on the other side influence the final result. So, the secret is to believe in it, keep the eye on the goal, have a flexible approach and try to compromise poetry and efficiency, intuition and reality. It’s not a small feat, is it?
Si parte da un’intuizione, si immagina un percorso, si esprime un desiderio. Poi si lavora al progetto e ognuno deve fare la sua parte, come in una famiglia: creatività, verifiche tecniche, produzione, comunicazione.

DESIGNER OU UNE FAMILLE D’IDEES
You start from intuition, then picture a course, make a wish. Then work on a project, and everyone has a fundamental part in it, as in a family: creativity, technical feasibility, production, communication.
On part d’une intuition, on imagine un parcours, on exprime un désir. Puis on travaille au projet et chacun doit faire sa part, comme dans une famille: créativité, contrôles techniques, production, communication.
Quelqu’un pense encore : “designer = artiste”. C’est vrai, en partie, certainement, mais le parcours de l’idée à la concrétisation de l’objet fini n’est en rien linéaire, ou simple. Car aujourd’hui tout et son contraire sont bons. D’un coté, les techniques de production facilitent le processus créatif, de l’autre elles conditionnent le résultat final. Et alors le secret c’est d’y croire, ne pas perdre de vue l’objectif, raisonner avec élasticité et limiter les compromis entre poésie et efficacité, entre intuition et réalité. Ce n’est pas rien, n’est-ce pas?

marconatoezappa.it Maurizio Marconato e Terry Zappa collaborano con numerose aziende nel settore del mobile (casa, bagno e ufficio). Si occupano dell’ideazione e dell’industrializzazione dei prodotti, seguendo anche l’art-direction e gli allestimenti fieristici. Come architetti progettano nell’ambito residenziale, sia del nuovo che nella ristrutturazione del patrimonio edilizio esistente, mentre come interior designers curano arredamenti per abitazioni, uffici, alberghi, esposizioni e negozi in Italia e all’estero. Maurizio Marconato and Terry Zappa collaborate with several companies in the furniture field (home, bathroom, office). They take care both of the idea and of its industrialization, getting further involved in art-direction and exhibitions. As architects they work for residential projects, both for new buildings and for renovations, while as interior designers they work on private houses, offices, hotels, exhibitions and retailers in Italy and abroad.
Maurizio Marconato et Terry Zappa collaborent avec de nombreuses entreprises du secteur du meuble (maison, salle-de-bain et bureaux). Ils s’occupent de la conception et de l’industrialisation des produits, suivant aussi la direction artistique et les installations lors des foires. En tant qu’architectes ils font des projets dans le cadre résidentiel, autant dans le neuf que pour la restructuration du patrimoine de bâtiments déjà existant, et comme décorateurs d’intérieur, ils s’occupent de l’ameublement d’habitations, bureaux, hôtels, expositions et boutiques en Italie et à l’étranger.
LUCA SCACCHETTI scacchetti.com Luca Scacchetti is a professional architect and designer. His area of expertise spreads from urban planning to design of single buildings, from interior design to the design of single objects. Besides, he has developed several project for hospitality structures. He collaborates with the most renowned companies worldwide in home furniture, office furniture, lighting, bathroom furniture, tiles and accessories. His projects can be seen in Italy, France, Spain, Holland, Russia, Greece, Cyprus, Japan, Armenia, Kazakhstan and China.
Luca Scacchetti est architecte et designer de profession. Son champ d’action va de la planification urbaine au niveau architectural de l’édifice, des intérieurs au seul objet de design. En outre, ses projets de structures hôtelières sont nombreux. Il collabore avec les principales entreprises italiennes et étrangères du meuble, du bureau, des luminaires, de la salle-de-bain, des revêtements et des objets. Il a mené des projets dans toute l’Italie et en France, Espagne, Hollande, Russie, Grèce, Chypre, Japon, Arménie, Kazakhstan et Chine.
Luca Scacchetti svolge la professione di architetto e designer. Il suo campo d’azione si estende dalla pianificazione urbanistica alla scala architettonica dell’edificio, dagli interni al singolo oggetto di design. Numerosi, inoltre, i suoi progetti di strutture alberghiere. Collabora con le principali aziende italiane ed estere del mobile, dell’ufficio, dell’illuminazione, del bagno, dei rivestimenti e dell’oggettistica. Ha svolto progetti in tutta Italia e in Francia, Spagna, Olanda, Russia, Grecia, Cipro, Giappone, Armenia, Kazakistan e Cina.
IKONEN&SALOVAARA NEW ENTRY
Il duo Ikonen & Salovaara (Jarmo Ikonen e Janne Salovaara), è nato frequentando l’Institute of Design di Lathi in Finlandia. Condividendo gli stessi principi del design, avendo lo stesso background finlandese e la medesima idea di forma, ma anche grazie alla reciproca accettazione dei diversi metodi di lavoro, con Contempo hanno vinto per la seconda volta un concorso organizzato da BootB, un portale web che mette in contatto le menti creative con le aziende. The partnership Ikonen & Salovaara Jarmo Ikonen and Janne Salovaara) was born during their apprenticeship at the Institute of Design in Lathi, Finland. Sharing the same design principles, the same Finnish backgroung and the same formal ideas, but also accepting the mutual acceptance of different working methods, they’ve won their second BootB international creativity contest, with the prokect they made for Contempo.
Le duo Ikonen & Salovaara (Jarmo Ikonen et Janne Salovaara), est né fréquentant l’Institut du Design de Lathi en Finlande. Partageant les mêmes principes sur le design, ayant le même “background” finlandais et la même idée des formes, mais aussi en acceptant réciproquement des méthodes de travail diverses, avec Contempo il a gagné pour la seconde fois un concours organisé par BootB, un site web qui met en contact les esprits créatifs et les entreprises.
