All Romanian Fairy Tales® products are handmade, we invest in each of them the most precious resource: Time. A small investment compared to what the Romanian tradition wins, namely: Life. We aim to create positive change by handcrafting beautiful and unique accessories from materials that are friendly to the environment and to us humans, chosen from local ecological and sustainable sources, that bring joy to the homes and lives of our customers such as: reclaimed wood, flax, hemp, cattail, raffia, cellulose. Sustainability and artisanship don’t work in trends, they work in the context of slow fashion. We produce less and more skillfully. Artisanal production of accessories in vintage fabric and natural materials involves handwork and it is not compatible with the fast production. This is called ‘slow design’ and it focuses on a product which is timeless, independent from seasons and trends, and therefore sustainable.
