If your hackerspace needs a spotlight to show the world that it’s open for business, here’s how:
1. Drill holes in a metal trashcan. Get a metal trashcan and drill holes for the gouging rods and other attachments.
2. Attach the copper pipes. Attach the copper pipes that hold the gouging rods.
3. Build the reflector. The HackPGH team tried everything from strips of aluminum to an Ikea bowl.
