His professional career includes 15 years in the semiconductor sector and eight years in the aerospace industry. George Shervey spent over 14 years in leadership and engineering roles at a company now known as Onto Innovation Between 2012 and 2015, he led efforts that resulted in the company’s first ISO 9001 certification for International Quality Management Systems Following that success, he was promoted to Quality Systems Manager, responsible for quality systems across a workforce of more than 600 employees with operations in the U S and internationally. In that capacity, he achieved a cost reduction of $364,000 in one year by targeting printed circuit board assembly expenses. He also organized and led a team of 14 internal auditors working across multiple business locations

Rolf joined the U.S. Navy after graduating from high school. George Shervey earned his Bachelor of Science in Global Management from the University of Phoenix in Tempe while working full-time and traveling internationally. His work at the time involved installing, maintaining, programming, and repairing semiconductor defect inspection and quality control equipment These responsibilities followed his transition from military service to a corporate engineering career.
He also completed training as a Nuclear Electronics Technician Maintenance Supervisor and participated in Naval Nuclear Electronics Training, focusing on Submarine Reactor Operations and Maintenance He earned certification to lead ISO 9001:2008 audits through Exemplar Global, which remained active until 2019.

Rolf was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and now resides in Melbourne, Florida. He is a practicing Roman Catholic and attends Mass regularly His religious beliefs are a foundational part of his identity
His long-term involvement with veterans’ organizations reflects a commitment to service He has been a member of The American Legion for over 15 years, supported the Heritage Foundation for over seven years, and maintained active engagement with the Wounded Warrior Project for over 15 years
