ROKU ERROR CODE 014.50


Error code 014.50) appears at this point, it means the Roku player can not join the local network. If you see this red X, try this: Try rebooting the router by unplugging it from the power source, then plugging it back in. Try changing the router's wireless security mode to WPA-PSK



Cause:

If the Roku device is unable to connect to the local network, the error code 014.50 appears. Even when the right wireless network has been chosen, and the password correctly entered, the device might fail to connect to your local network. The poor strength of the signal might also cause this error.


Fix:

1. The first step should be to restart the Roku device. 2. On the player, access Settings > System > System Restart. 3. If you have the Roku TV, restart it as follows: 4. Click Settings > System > Power > System Restart. 5. Another method is to detach the device cable from the power supply and plug it back in. 6. Refer your router manufacturer’s guide to know instructions of restarting a router. 7. Pull out the power cord from the rear of the router and then reconnect it. 8. Or locate the Reset button on the device and press it. 9. Give both the devices some time to restart. 10. Get into the router account and change the channels until you can see Roku connecting to the Wi-Fi. 11. Once the process is done, the devices will automatically pair if they were already connected.
