6A: Concordia Lutheran lost some key pieces from last season’s team but do return solid point guard Jace Jeffries (Sr) to lead the charge.. Ben Fears (Sr) and young fellow Loukas Naum (So) will be looked upon to help the Crusaders be successful. Big Wesley Stallings (Sr) will be the go-to-guy for St Pius. Also, Grant Shupak (Sr) and his 19 ppg return for the Panthers as they strive to improve from an 8 win season. St Thomas Catholic will lean on Evan Levy (Jr) and Aron Valentine (Sr) to lead the way, as the lone returning players who logged significant minutes last year. The Village has the super skilled Evan Cochran (Sr) back in the fold, look for them to give teams problems with his size and skill set.

5A: The Woodlands Christian return Tres Luzey (Sr) along with his brother Morgan Luzey (So). They also add the services of talented Howie Keene (Jr) who came over from Concordia Lutheran, Hunter Bowman (Sr) is also a key piece for The Warriors. Second Baptist returns Dyllan Thompson (Sr) as well as Michael Olaly (Sr). Adam Vessel (So) and Alec Scarborough (Sr) will be contributors along with Reese Alston (Fr) who is the son of retired NBA & Streetball legend -Rafer “Skip to My Lou” Alston.

4A: St Thomas Episcopal return UTRGV signee Nathan Law (Sr) along with his brother Aidan Law (Jr). Micah Gichana (Sr) and Noah Richards (Sr) are also big pieces for this group who lost in the state tournament last season. They both are coming off really solid summers. Andrew Seller (So) is the future of the program.

3A: St. Francis Episcopal is loaded with talent led by national prospect Nigel Walls (Jr). He along with guys like Omarion Harvey (Jr), John Laboy (Jr) and Christian Hodge (Jr) will make this team tough to beat. Westbury Christian will return the talented Jason Scott (Jr) who has the tools to become one of the best in class, and all it takes is - consistency.

Houston Christian is the reigning SPC Champions and return ‘do everything’ point guard Montana Wheeler (Jr) to lead the charge. Chris Adlam (Sr) is poised to have a breakout season along with Carter Seeliger (Sr). They will be challenged by a very talented Episcopal team led by George Mason signee Justin Begg (Sr). Jakeel Registe (Sr) comes back home to try and win another SPC Championship. Aziz Olajuwon (Fr) is an up and coming star for Episcopal. St John’s has one the best players in the country Sebastian Williams-Adams (Jr). He will get help from Malachi Booker (Fr) who is one of the most talented freshmen in the state.

Independents

Legacy the School of Sports Science always has a boat load of talent and this year is no different. Zion Pipkin (Sr) is signed with Wichita St, and is one of the best combo guards around. Courtland Thomas (Sr) is an intriguing prospect as he is 6’7 and can step out and hit the 3. Javarius Thompson (Sr) also gives them another scorer in the backcourt. They play a national schedule and will be battle tested. Good Vision Academy is loaded with a trio of guys who were at PSAT last season. Missouri commit Trent Burns (Sr) came over along with Cam Woodberry (Sr) and Samuel Cole (Sr).
