2.1.11 Reinforcement on the Setting-up of Learning Management Systems (LMS) The CHED RO XI reinforced the setting up of the Learning Management System (LMS) of the HEIs in Region XI. The SUCs started from an established non-proprietary LMS of the University of Southeastern Philippines, a Level IV SUC. The USEP provided assistance to other SUCs in the establishment of their LMS while the Regional Office assisted the private HEIs. To date, all SUCs in the Region have established non-proprietary LMS while many of the Private HEIs and Local Colleges are using proprietary LMS.

2.1.12 Assistance in Organizing Group of Volunteer Course Pack Writers The CHED RO XI organized a Group of Volunteer Coursepack Writers totaling to 239 faculty members who also participated in the Consortium on Flexible Learning with the project entitled “Working on Resilience and Innovation for Teaching Excellence in Region XI (WRITE-RXI). The said Consortium is an initiative of Commissioner Aldrin A. Darilag and involves the four SUCs in Region XI under him. The University of Southeastern Philippines being the lead institution of the Consortium provided series of capacity building to these Volunteers. This resulted in the development of 92 course packs across disciplines for Professional Education.
