Independent labels get to present themselves and sell their goods directly to the public from 11.00 to 16.00 hrs. Admission to the market is free. According to an organiser the Label Market is ‘a celebration of independent pop culture.’ “We want to show all the special releases being made these days. CD's of course, but first and foremost a lot of beautiful vinyl, special releases, books, posters, maybe some misprints and a host of other exclusive products will be on display. See it as a mix between a record fair, an exhibition, and a farmer’s market.” The Label Market also features DJ sets and acoustic performances.
