In the early 1990s, this street view showed just empty lots where the famous Rockaway Playland once stood. Now, looking north towards the bay, Beach 98th Street and Shorefront Parkway offers a quite a different view. New homes went up in the late ‘90s and early 2000s. You can see one of the Bay Towers in the distance in both photos. And in the older photo, a corner of St. Camillus can be seen.
