Santa’s Grand Arrival To launch Christmas at Robina Town Centre we will hold a large Santa’s Arrival event on The Promenade.This event will include a parade featuring Bananas in Pyjamas, Madagascar characters, Dirt Girl, Lunar Jim and The Wot Wots. A variety of traditional Christmas characters such as Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and Mrs Claus will also make an appearance. Plus a three piece jazz band, face painters, balloon artists and acrobatic elves.The activity will commence around 10.30am with Santa to make his grand arrival on The Promenade at 11am. Characters and entertainers will then roam the Centre after the arrival to create a fun and festive ambience. Santa will commence Santa photos at his Enchanted Forest after his big arrival from midday. Santa’s Grand Arrival, Saturday 16th November 11am.
Santa’s Enchanted Forest This year we welcome back the popular Santa’s Enchanted Forest which will be located outside Myer and features a walk through experience with story boards, animals, a wishing pond, letter writing area and, of course, Santa’s throne where customers will have the opportunity to have a photo with Santa. Santa’s Enchanted Forest will open to the public after Santa’s Grand Arrival on Saturday 16 November at approximately midday.
Wishing Pond Donations A wishing pond will be located within Santa’s Enchanted Forest and all donations will be presented to Make-A-Wish Australia. Make-A-Wish Australia is a nationally well-respected organisation, which grants wishes to children who are suffering with a life-threatening medical condition.They work directly with families to deliver these children their very own special wish, which has a significant positive impact on the physical, mental and emotional health and wellbeing of the children with lifethreatening medical conditions. Robina Town Centre is proud to support Make-AWish Australia this Christmas.

Digital Robina Town Centre will be promoting the Christmas launch via a number of digital channels to ensure the gift offering is showcased in the digital space and engage with a wide range of customers. These channels include e-newsletters, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest. The new Robina Town Centre website platform is up and running and allows retailers to target their content to interested Robina Town Centre shoppers like never before. We have introduced a new Retailer Portal through which retailers can directly submit and update content to our online platforms. You all should have received an email with details about how to access the Robina Town Centre Retailer Portal including your unique password. For those who manage retailer content across multiple QIC shopping centres, you will be able to manage all content from one central location. We encourage you to take the time to familiarise yourself with the new system and take full advantage of this new and expanded tool through which to market and expose your business and brand especially during the peak Christmas period. Christmas Feature Tree – NEW! This Christmas to further enhance the customer experience and offer a unique feature for families, we will be installing a large decorative tree under the chandelier on Level 2, near the Food Atrium. This tree will be the home to a schedule of children’s story telling with Mrs Claus and Rudolph sharing special Christmas stories with children.

Christmas Cooking Demonstration Miguel Maestre On Saturday 7 December we are hosting celebrity chef and Spanish cooking sensation Miguel Maestre. He will be cooking up a storm in a pop up kitchen located in the Food Markets Mall near Coles and Woolworths. He will host two festive cooking demonstrations followed by a customer meet and greet.

Visual Merchandising Robina Town Centre retailers are invited to participate in Christmas Visual Merchandising displays, which will be located on the catwalk near Pandora and also a satellite display. These displays will be styled to tie in with Santa’s Enchanted Forest and will feature a variety of gift ideas. Robina Magazine 120,000 copies of the special Christmas edition of Robina Town Centre’s Robina Magazine will be distributed on 23 and 24 of November. Editorial features will include a broad range of gift ideas to suit a variety of personalities, food, entertainment, and childrenswear. Limited opportunities for editorial and product placement exist in this magazine. Please email your Christmas images for the season to marketing@robinatowncentre.com.au by 18 October should you wish to be considered for inclusion.
Gift Cards Robina Town Centre Gift Cards make the perfect gift for that hard to buy for person. Robina Town Centre will extensively promote Gift Card sales and will have a satellite Gift Card station available in Centre in the two weeks leading up to Christmas from which customers can purchase Gift Cards. Robina Town Centre Gift Cards can also be purchased online from robinatowncentre.com.au
Gift Wrapping A Charity Gift Wrapping service will be available in two locations throughout the Centre from 2 December. There will be a gift wrapping booth located on Level 3, near Big W and also Level 3, near Target. Gift Wrapping is a gold coin donation with all proceeds going to our two charities Careflight and Newlife Care. Please promote this great service to your customers.
Christmas Christmas entertainment has been booked for the two weeks leading up to Christmas focussed around late night trade. This includes roving carollers, angel stilt walkers, acrobatic elves and snowy man during key periods to create a festive atmosphere in Centre. We will also have a variety of local community bands including the Gold Coast Wind Orchestra playing on late nights under the Christmas Tree on The Promenade.
