Canaanite Basalt Gate Lock An ancient Bronze Age Canaanite basalt massive gate lock mechanism consisting of a stone with a quadrangular channel through which the stone bolt slides. Bronze rods placed through two holes in both the bolt and the channel locked the bolt in place.
