SAR SC AN
SARSCAN速 is a specially designed rugged remotely operated boat for the emergency services to quickly perform a survey at the area of the accident where people or vehicle(s) have ditched. The SARSCAN速 is equipped with a sonar system linked to a radio transmitter. The sonar images are immediately transmitted to a portable base station onshore. This allows to detect victims and/or objects independent of the visibility. Once the victim(s) and/or objects(s) are located divers can be directed to the exact location, thus saving considerable search time. Besides that the rescue of the divers can also be monitored. The SARSCAN速 can be easily stored in a car/truck and is ready for operation when the carry-on box is opened.
