Robert Morris Captains Robert Morris captains are selected at the beginning of practice the Friday prior to a game by head coach Joe Walton and his staff. One player is picked from the RMU offense, defense and special teams, and each are awarded by the individual’s play in the previous week’s contest. Captains for the season opener are based on the individual’s play in training camp. The Voice of the Colonials, Chris Shovlin, and color analyst Brian Cleary call the action. RMU Sports Information Director Jim Duzyk joins Shovlin as color analyst for select Colonial road games. “The Joe Walton Show” is on 30 minutes prior to kickoff.
