What made you apply to ProspectSoft? For me ProspectSoft was an obvious choice for my placement. There’s a huge level of commitment to the placement scheme (their awards speak for themselves) and the high numbers of returning placements prove ProspectSoft is a company people really want to work for. The people that I met at the assessment centre were really nice, and the moment I walked through the door I was made to feel right at home. How did ProspectSoft prepare you for your placement / internship? Any new job that you start can always be daunting, but ProspectSoft had the provisions in place to make sure you settled in quickly. From holding a familiarisation day so we could all meet each other, to starting off our placement with a months intensive training to bring us all up to scratch. ProspectSoft ensured that we were ready to jump in at the deep end and get stuck in straight away. How much responsibility were you given during your placement / internship? Running the marketing department with a returning placement gave me a lot of responsibility, allowing me to really challenge myself. I was one of the few to be trained on our eMarketing software, so was given the responsibility of managing our different email marketing campaigns and answering any queries or problems that anyone had, and I really saw the impact my work had on the company.

Every day was different; I wanted a varied placement, allowing me to learn new skills to make the most of my year away. During the year I’ve ran our inhouse marketing campaigns, liaised with and advised partners on their marketing efforts, managed our regional events and ran email marketing training sessions for our customers. I was also heavily involved in the biggest new software launch in ProspectSoft history: running additional events, building awareness, writing content and helping out. Would you want to return to work full time at ProspectSoft and if so, why? I definitely feel that ProspectSoft is a company that I would like to return to after my final year at university. Not only are the people fantastic to work with, but following our Big Launch event of our latest products, I feel that the company is getting better and better, providing incredible solutions that really play a vital role in companies on a day to day basis and helping them to grow. to find out more, visit
