Caring for the U-House

The studio took up the role of the caretaker for the U House, attending to the remaining wall, and preserving some memory of the prior existence. The task entitled a ‘cabinet-cabinet’ demanded that we hold ‘too closely, too tightly’ that which we sought to protect. Rather than validating our concern for the wall, the task illuminated the grave potential of care.
