ccording to a recent FBI warning, the agency was able to demonstrate that data thieves are targeting travelers abroad through pop-up windows while they are attempting to establish an Internet connection in their hotel rooms. The pop-up windows are disguised an a notice of software update - such as the ubiguitous Adobe software update window. When the user responds to the fake update, the laptop actually installs malicious software that could forward everything on your computer to the cyber thieves. Be careful and update nothing on a hotel connection.

A

licensed massage therapist, a physician’s assistant and 14 patients at a massage clinic in Miami have been arrested in an undercover insurance fraud investigation. Judith Gonzalez is accused of billing insurance companies nearly $250,000 in fraudulent claims and coaching patients on how to commit personal injury protection fraud. The 39-yearold Miami woman is the owner of Flamingo Health Corporation and has operated several other clinics. ork At Home Vintage Employees LLC (WAHVE), a company that provides domestic remote staffing services for insurance firms, announced that veteran insurance industry executive Cynthia Hardy Young has joined WAHVE’s advisory board. Young is former president of Encompass Insurance, a $2.5-billion division of Allstate Insurance that sells personal lines products countrywide through two brands. 19
