Gonzalez Convention Center. The Gonzalez Center is in the heart of the downtown district alongside the city’s famous River Walk. The HBGCC features a full-service UPS business center and Wi-Fi to help you stay in touch with your store while you’re at the show.

The property overlooks the San Antonio skyline and offers the height of Texas hospitality. The Hyatt’s amenities include a fitness center, spa, barbecue restaurant and sports lounge. If you reserve your hotel room through RJOMembers.com, you can register for the show there, too, in a matter of minutes. If minutes don’t matter, you can register the slow way by filling out the registration form found at the back of this show announcement and faxing it, or finding a stamp and an envelope and mailing it to RJO.

YOUR ROOM WILL BE COMPED RJO will pay up to three nights’ accommodations for all qualifying members staying in the RJO room block of the Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk. A rate of $189 plus taxes and fees per night will apply to stays longer than the three nights during the show and to non-qualifying members. This complimentary room incentive does not include suite upgrades or additional room occupants.

CANCELLATION NOTICE If you have registered for the show and find that you are unable to attend, you must notify RJO no later than January 16 to avoid event charges. Also notify RJO at least five business days prior to the show if you are unable to attend any of the events you’ve registered for, yet still intend to attend the show. Hotel cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to your scheduled arrival. Paid RJO excursions must be cancelled before January 3, 2015.

By sharing ideas and information, the potential takeaway at either session should be enormous. Both sessions will be of benefit, but because they will be conducted simultaneously, you must determine

which topic is most relevant to you. Please indicate your selection of session A or B when you register. SESSION A What Plans Really Matter in Your Actual Business? Facilitator: Kate Peterson, Performance Concepts Jewelers know a lot about what they “ought” to plan in their business. And then there is reality. You might have a business plan with a vision and/or mission statement. You might have a marketing plan, perhaps even connected to your budget. You might have a plan for training staff, including staff reviews not tied to compensation. What plan do you have that really works for you? What problem do you have that you believe a plan might help resolve?

SESSION B How Do You Renew Yourself? Facilitator: Charlotte Preston, Charlotte Preston Catalysts Whether you started your business, bought an existing business, or inherited a business outright, days turn into months turn into years turn into decades, and every person needs renewal. If your energies lag, so does the business. How do you compel yourself forward in business, not just compel yourself to go to work every day? How do you say “Yes” with enthusiasm?
