Building and Sharing Learning Paths A learning path allows teachers to integrate related items of digital content with learning tasks for students.

1: Use the Browse and Search functions within Digistore to locate desired content.

2: Select digital content Select desired digital content from search results by selecting the ‘add to m y learning paths’ tab located below the screen shot of the item.

As more item(s) are chosen, the Add item(s) list updates to show how many you have selected.

3: Select an existing folder or create a new folder to store your learning path If you create a new folder, enter a name and select Save.

4: Give your learning path a name and a description Choose Create new learning path or add to an existing path. If you are creating a new path , enter a name and a brief description. Select Save

5: Confirmation This page confirms that the new items have been added. Select Go to m y learning path folders to manage and edit your learning path.

6: Manage and edit your learning path Select the appropriate folder to locate the learning path that you wish to edit. Select Edit


For each of the digital resources contained within your learning path you can add a comment and a description. This functionality allows the teacher to provide students with supporting comments and instructions. Select Edit details to add information including a title, a description and additional comments.

Select Add comm ents to add further annotations. The comments will appear in a box under the description of the digital resource.

7: Save each time you edit a description or add a comment.

8: Sharing your learning path Digistore generates a unique PIN for every learning path that is created. This capability simplifies the sharing process as it mitigates the need for username and passwords. To share a learning path with your students, so that no PIN or username and password is required.

Login and select from My learning path folder the learning path that you wish to share

Select Edit

iii)

Copy the URL

iv)

Use this URL to navigate the students directly to the chosen learning path.
