Seasonal by-law reminders

Overnight parking restrictions – Dec. 1 to April 1 Effective snow removal requires car-free streets. So, though the Town recognizes that it can be inconvenient to find off-street parking, it is sometimes necessary for the safe and complete plowing of town streets. Accordingly, vehicles must not be parked on the street when they will interfere with snow clearing operations. Per the Traffic By-Law 700-10-3 it is an offence to park a vehicle on any Riverview street from midnight to 7 a.m. from December 1 to April 1 inclusive, or at any time that will interfere with snow clearing operations. Motorists who fail to respect the by-law risk receiving a fine and/or having their vehicle towed.
