The Camp Experience People always ask us, “What’s so special about camp?”

Riverside offers an experience that focuses on the whole camper. The physical benefits of camp are many, offering youth an active camp experience in which they are able to exercise and play in a safe and fun environment. Camp offers knowledge of God’s Word and challenges campers to think deeply about how God’s Word is active in their lives to benefit them mentally. At Riverside, we strive to create a comfortable and encouraging social environment for youth to grow friendships and learn what Christian community is all about. Finally, the eternal benefits of camp are great too! We focus everything we do on the Good News of Jesus Christ and a God that desires a relationship with us that will last forever. So, what’s so special about camp? God is at work at Riverside, impacting the whole person for our good and His glory!

Riverside Summer Registration Form

Marriage Retreat 2012: “Seasons of Marriage” March 2-4, 2012

“To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1 Every marriage moves with the natural seasons of life. Yet, the season of the heart in our marriage does not always reflect the natural season we are within. This weekend, we will explore the traps and the treasures of each season of marriage. The Marriage Retreat is a time to get away from our normal schedules, the phone ringing, demands as being parents, housework, cooking, dishes, yard work, etc.! Take the time to be with your spouse in an atmosphere which encourages godly marriages, lasting relationships, friendships within marriages, and fellowship with others. God’s Word is powerful—it affects lives and marriages! Couples enjoy time together, as well as worship, skits by our program team, lots of fun, great food, fellowship and laughter. Ryan and Jenn Alexander have served side-by-side in ministry since the day they met, 15 years ago. Authenticity and humor are the marks of this couple’s teaching style, and their individual personalities and gifts create a beautiful harmony of opposites. Ryan is the Pastor of Spiritual Formation at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Lakeville, MN. Jenn is a singer-songwriter, worship leader and retreat speaker. PLEASE pray about coming to the Marriage Retreat in March 2012! Bring some friends! Maybe you know a couple who would really like to come, but child care and/or money is prohibiting them. Can you help, or could you find help for them? The registration fee is a great GIFT to give for Christmas and anniversaries!
