Trending in the Wardrobe & My Go-To Styling Tips

TRENDING IN THE WARDROBE

Are ballet flats really making a comeback? Are people genuinely embracing mesh shoes (weren’t those reserved for catching fish)? But hey, forget sweaty feet with this new trend!

I’m really excited about the rising trend of silver accents, and I must admit, the denim-on-denim look is growing on me.

Athleisure continues to reign supreme, and we’re also revisiting the ‘60s with increasing incorporations of the mini skirt. And hey, let’s not forget to call Mum and ask to borrow her button-up vests - it’s a vibe.

MY GO-TO STYLING TIPS

• Build your outfit around the pieces that you need to wear, to be warm and comfortable.

• Wear a colour that reflects you and your daily plans. For example if I have lots of meetings and it’s a dull day, a pop of colour will always be my go-to.

• Make an effort to discover new brands.

I find that I can so easily get into a ‘style rut’ when I continue to stick to purchasing from brands that I find comfortable.

• Always add some colour - when do you ever look at an ‘all grey’ outfit and think, wow that’s eye-catching?

• Invest in an iron, stop being lazy that crunched up skirt isn’t actually that attractive, it’s just screaming lazy.
