People ask,“How can you be involved in so many activites?” I say,

“How could I not?” Jessica Solverud, a native of Wausau, Wisconsin, figures her academic background and extracurricular involvement is excellent preparation for life after Ripon. She’s double majoring in English and communication. Jessica has taken full advantage of Ripon’s many co- and extra-curricular opportunities to create a powerful professional resume:

• Completing two internships, one with the Ripon College Office of Admission and the other as the Director of Christian Education at the First Congregational Church • Presenter and national qualifier for Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) • Student representative on the Accreditation Committee • Founding president of the Ripon College Equestrian Club • Manager of the Collaborative Learning Center • Member of the Ripon College women’s golf team • Participating in a peace studies Maymester to Jamaica and alternative spring break trips to Kentucky and Panama • Study abroad participant on the London/Florence Semester • Playing on intramural teams in inner tube water polo, volleyball and softball • A cast member in the theatre department’s musical production of “Wonderfultown”
