We commit to reflect Christ, cultivate the relevancy and excitement of learning and impact the world through service. One of the first steps toward accomplishing the mission is to foster a profound sense of community between the teachers, support staff and students. Rio students appreciate that their teachers live on campus and are readily available. In addition to preparing quality classroom experiences, Rio’s staff intentionally create and foster close relationships as they serve their students through coaching athletic teams, sponsoring classes, participating in student activities, and mentoring them in home-group meetings. But the most important component of community is a shared spiritual experience of worshiping together as students and staff members.
