This class will cover still life as landscape, primary color painting exercises and perspective painting. Classes are held outdoors in the Englewood vicinity, weather permitting. Johan will share his vast knowledge of painting techniques, as well as give you tips for finishing a plein air painting in the studio or moving your painting practice out of the studio into plein air.

This class is designed for people who are interested in learning the fundamentals of creating realistic-style watercolor paintings. In this class, students will learn color theory, the use of perspective, 25 watercolor techniques, and complete a simple watercolor painting. The subject of this reference painting must be provided by the student and a non-copyrighted image.
