Phase 4: Big Bore expansion chamber X 53 As we all know, a good exhaust can make all the difference on a tuned 2-stroke engine. For these types of reed valve induction cylinders, the Casa big bore expansion X53 is made completely in steel and offer the best possible performance for our reed-valved kits and unleashes a notable raise in mid-range power output.
Phase 5: Special crankshaft X 5 Another top modification available is a special crankshaft which is electronically balanced and fitted with a special con-rod. This type of crankshaft will raise crankcase compression and the superb quality con-rod is an absolute must for higher output engines.
Phase 6: 12V Electronic ignition ‘Casatronic’ X 45, X 46 & X 47 A big step towards improving both the reliability and usability of any Lambretta is the fitment of a CasaLambretta electronic ignition system. These ignitions are produced exclusively for CasaLambretta and are unique in that the flywheels are machined from a single part and the weights for the standard kit flywheels X 45 & X 46 are identical to the original Innocenti parts. These electronic kits really are the business and are mechanically perfect. An added advantage is that all Casa electronic kits have a current regulator that is identical to the original Ducati part, thus maintaining the original look and originality of your Lambretta. The maximum power output is 90W which is more than sufficient to power all the scooters lights and any additional accessories. All Casa electronic ignitions have the possibility to charge a battery as standard. If you wish to have a lightened flywheel, kit X 47 has a 2.0kg weight flywheel, which is ideal for tuned engines. This is only available for the thick-taper GP / DL type crankshafts.
Phase 7: Special uprated clutch X 33 For engines with increased power output, it is recommended to uprate the clutch with a special type clutch unit, designed and produced exclusively by CasaLambretta. This new uprated clutch is unique in the way it’s manufactured and gives total reliability, even under the most extreme conditions of use. The clutch uses 5 Surflex friction plates and 6 springs. In use, the clutch is light, progressive and mechanically exceptional.
Phase 8: Cyclone 5 Speed gearbox For those of you that really want to get the most from your engine, a complete high quality close-ratio 5 speed gearbox has been produced, that can be fitted to any Series 1, 2, 3, GP / DL Lambretta without any modification whatsoever to the actual engine casing. The kit is called the ‘Cyclone 5 Speed’ and is produced by Rimini Lambretta Centre.
