GOING FIVE-STAR!

I love food – who doesn’t? – and I live in a city that boasts five Michelin star restaurants so I keep wondering why I haven’t visited them all yet. So, in 2017, I’ll definitely get myself booked into Adam’s on Waterloo Street and Turners at 69 on Harborne High Street. Actually, I may as well re-visit Carters of Moseley, Purnell’s and Simpsons again…YOLO.

EATING ON THE STREET

Great food is something that Birmingham excels in, but it’s not all Michelin stars… we’re also the hub of amazing street food. I love a visit down to Digbeth Dining Club

I love the idea of playing sport but I score more for enthusiasm than I do for skill. However, I hear that there’s a new sport in town that’s not just sociable, but also pretty easy to learn. Padel is a combination of tennis, squash and racquetball, so a trip to World Padel Club Birmingham on Coventry

Road is on the cards. If I completely fail at that, I might just opt for the monthly salsa class at The Jam House… it’s an institution!

s we get set to welcome 2017, I’ve decided to stop saying “I really want to go there” and actually commit to experiencing things that I keep seeing around the city. My New Year’s Resolution this year is to experience something new every month in what I’m calling my Birmingham Bucket List. Here are some of the things I’ll be doing in 2017…
