An Elvey Celebration Thank you for considering holding your wedding here at Elvey Farm. We are delighted and honoured that you are thinking of us for such a special occasion. Our main wedding season runs from June to early September, when we have a marquee in the grounds. Outside of these months we can offer smaller weddings contained within our sixteenth-century barn.
We had the most special wedding day at Elvey Farm. A day we will never forget! The team at Elvey Farm were perfect, so helpful and welcoming and the setting was beautiful. We couldn’t have imagined getting married anywhere else, and we are so looking forward to visiting Elvey Farm again really soon!

The Ceremony We have two rooms licensed for civil weddings. In the sixteenth-century barn, beneath the ancient beams, we can accommodate up to 60 people seated or 90 people standing. For a more intimate setting, we also have a lounge area that can accommodate up to 25 people. Alternatively, the ceremony can be held outside the barn, subject to the British weather, of course! After the ceremony is over celebrate with drinks on the lawn. A refreshing glass of Pimms or perhaps a chilled glass of local Sparkling Wine?
Elvey Farm was an amazing venue for the reception of our wedding. The setting is incredible in the heart of the most beautiful countryside. More than that though, everyone there is very friendly and works together to make your day is as special as it should be. It is also very flexible and allows you to imprint your own personality on the day. I would recommend Elvey Farm to anyone looking for a venue for a romantic and quintessentially English wedding with the flexibility you wouldn’t get at many other venues.

Celebrate in the Marquee Your Wedding Breakfast and Evening Reception will be held in the marquee in the paddock. The 30’ x 80’ framed marquee comes complete with arched windows overlooking the paddock, ivory lining, chandeliers and up-lighters in the walls – to give it a warm, soft glow. It also has a carpeted, hard wooden floor throughout, which includes a 15’ x 18’ parquet dance floor with a twinkle star-cloth above it for your first dance.
Elvey Farm was everything you could wish for in a Wedding Venue. The Farm is beautiful. Simon and his staff were excellent, kind and helpful. The food was amazing and the local wines delicious. All in all we had a perfect day. Everything was run so smoothly by Simon who took all the stress out of the day. I would highly recommend this beautiful venue and the staff who made our daughter’s wedding such a magical day.

The Wedding Breakfast For the Wedding Breakfast the marquee can accommodate up to 120 guests. The marquee can be decorated however you like – we can recommend florists and companies to decorate and create beautiful table-pieces. You can have long trestle style tables or round ones – it really just depends on the style of the wedding you want to create.
Our in-house Chef team will oversee all the food for your Wedding Breakfast. We can provide you with sample menus of the types of food we can offer, but all menus can be individually tailored to your specific requirements. We also have some fantastic drink packages available – and can offer advice on the best wines to perfectly compliment your chosen menu.

Evening Celebrations In the evening, as the sun begins to set, the Evening Celebrations begin. We will provide a bar for you and your guests, which includes draft larger. We can also prepare an evening buffet for you. Then it’s down to you to dance the night away until midnight.
Elvey Farm is amazing in every way. From the moment we arrived I could relax and pass over all my planning to Simon and know it was in safe hands. The setting was perfect and the ceremony outside was beautiful. The whole day went so smoothly and just clicked into place, again thanks to Simon, Elsie and their team. It really was everything we had dreamed about!

Wedding Night on the Farm At the end of the night, you and your guests can retire to one of our eleven beautifully appointed rooms in our four ancient buildings. For the happy couple, the Canterbury Suite with its exclusive access to a Secret Garden with outdoor hot-tub, is the perfect choice.
Full details of our accommodation can be found attached to this pack. All rooms will automatically be reserved for guests attending the wedding, and it is expected that you will occupy all eleven rooms on the night of the wedding itself. Many of your guest might choose to stay the night before.

Your Wedding Co-ordinator Something that we pride ourselves on at Elvey Farm is that you will have one main contact for your wedding. Simon will be allocated as your wedding co-ordinator and will take you through the entire process, from initial planning to waving goodbye as you leave the farm as newlyweds.
We offer wedding couples exclusive use of the farm. From 12 noon on the day of your wedding until 11am the following morning, the place is yours, with only you and your guests here.
By the time your big day arrives, we will have shared ideas for many months; you will have met with us several times - you might even have called us to discuss late-night fears. In fact, we’ll have become friends.
