The Baldwin Public Library is a longstanding institution in the community that it serves through educational, cultural and recreational activities and services.

The Baldwin Library’s mission is to provide programs that promote community engagement and enrich the lives of all local residents.

While the Baldwin Library remains closed to the public until further notice because of the coronavirus pandemic, there is a “Library Takeout” program.

Ways to place an order include calling, emailing or visiting an online catalog. Call (516) 223-6228 ext. 159 to leave a voicemail with your requests and provide your full name and library card number.

Email takeout@baldwinpl.org with your requests and include your full name, phone number and library card number. Wear a mask when picking up your order. A library staff member will contact you to schedule your pickup and give you an order number.

Patrons may return materials to the book and media drops. For more information and to learn more about online services

still being offered, visit baldwinpl. org/takeout.
