Helmed by James Beard-nominated chef Shinji Kurita, ShinBay offers a culinary adventure of epic proportions. With two seatings per night, each limited to just six guests per seating to ensure safe social distancing while maximizing intimacy, ShinBay’s Omakase Experience ($185 per guest) is currently available Wednesday through Sunday and features a seven-course, 15-dish dinner over the span of two hours. Omakase loosely translates to “to entrust the chef,” and thanks to Kurita, you are in very good hands. Kurita begins preparing for each week’s menu several days in advance, focusing on sourcing seasonal and unique ingredients from Japan, Spain, New Zealand, Tasmania and more.
