The Brush Bar This Scottsdale art studio offers classes Thursday to Sunday at 6:30 p.m. in a relaxed group setting where an artist guides you through replicating the night’s featured painting step by step. It’s meant to be for everyone, from beginners to aspiring Van Gogh’s. The best part: Not only does the class include all brushes, paint, a canvas, an easel and even an apron, it also includes a glass of wine, Champagne or beer. Additional glasses (and bottles) are also available thanks to a cash bar. Prices range from $25 to $50. www.thebrushbaraz.com. L8 Night Bingo Every Friday and Saturday night, grab a dauber and your lucky troll as Casino Arizona transforms its 1,000-seat bingo hall into a late-night party. Doors open at 10 p.m. with food and drink specials, giant flat-screen TVs throughout, live DJs, and even dancing if the mood strikes. Actual bingo play starts at midnight with a little traditional play and a lot of fun twists on classic games. Prices vary. www.casinoarizona.com. Mimosas & Monet One Saturday each month, The Hermosa Inn opens its patio for a program called Mimosas & Monet. Led by their artist in residence, Carrie Curran, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., this entertaining morning of outdoor art instruction is paired with mimosas. Curran teaches guests how to gracefully paint acrylic on canvas and guides them on an artistic journey to create their very own masterpiece. Upcoming classes, each offered for $75, are on March 10, April 14 and May 12. www.hermosainn.com. Pinspiration For all things crafty and creative, check out Pinspiration on High Street.
