Hotel Adeline opens its doors in Scottsdale

Selfmade Open for dinner daily, Selfmade is Hotel Adeline’s full-service restaurant serving seasonal American dishes with Mediterranean influences. Signature dishes include the roasted chicken “porchetta” with smoked garlic quinoa stuffing and braised short ribs with chamomile caramel squash, Brussels sprouts and mustard jus. Guests will also enjoy an inventive beverage menu featuring wine, craft beers and creative cocktails.
Good & Proper Scottsdale’s hospitality scene continues to grow. This month, after a soft opening with limited offerings in January, Hotel Adeline makes its formal debut. The 4.5-acre property, which initially opened in 1970 and has been a Clarion, Fairfield and Days Hotel, underwent a $12 million renovation as part of its transformation. Now a contemporary urban retreat, the boutique hotel offers 213 guestrooms including five spacious 700-square-foot king suites. Each room features modern wood furniture with retro flair, built-in live edge work desks, mixed textures and geometric patterns, walk-in rainfall showers, and 50-inch smart TVs. Hotel Adeline’s 3,000-square-foot negative-edge pool serves as the centerpiece of the property and is surrounded by 16 chic cabanas, spacious courtyards with cozy fire pits, and a multi-purpose elevated deck. There are several buzzing communal spaces and 1,800 square feet of private event space. But perhaps the most intriguing element of the hotel is its culinary offerings, open to locals and guests alike. Created in partnership with restaurateur Ryan Jocque, the creative force behind

As the hotel’s casual cafe concept, Good & Proper features a range of fast-casual and grab-and-go items. The breakfast and lunch menu offers a selection of egg dishes, breakfast bowls, sandwiches, salads, and made-to-order plates. Plus, late-night graband-go snacks are available until midnight daily, while fresh-squeezed juices, wine and beer complete the offerings.
Freestyle At the heart of the hotel’s pool sits Freestyle, a trendy pool bar with a “see and be seen” vibe offering a selection of starters, housemade pizzas and drinks.
Insider Tips Guests “in the know” will stumble upon Hotel Adeline’s own hidden gem, a speakeasy-type hideaway that will pair 100 whiskeys from around the world with specialty ice and boutique glassware.
