AN EVENING WITH GEORGE WINSTON Jan. 30-Jan. 31, Musical Instrument Museum George Winston is an American solo pianist hailing from Montana. He began playing acoustic piano in the early 1970s, and with more than 10 solo piano albums, Winston draws on inspiration from many different genres of music to create his own unique sound. His three styles of playing are melodic folk, New Orleans R&B and stride piano.
