Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts boasts a portfolio of more than 30 ultrachic properties in landmark locations around the world. And now, through clever collaboration, the brand is helping guests arrive at several of its most iconic addresses in style: via private jet. First, Waldorf Astoria recently announced its partnership with Wheels Up, a leading brand in private aviation, to offer the company’s members exclusive benefits at 10 Waldorf Astoria properties across North America, including Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead; Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club; Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills; Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort; Waldorf Astoria Park City; Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal; Waldorf Astoria Orlando; Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas; and Waldorf Astoria Chicago. The 10th resort is the recently reopened Arizona Biltmore, and though locals need not fly to get to there, it is good to know for when friends come to visit. Wheels Up members visiting any of the aforementioned properties will receive luxury ground transportation provided by Waldorf Astoria. Once on property, members will then have access to a dedicated concierge who will provide room upgrades based on availability, arrange complimentary breakfast, and set up a guaranteed late checkout. Members will also have complimentary premium Wi-Fi. Beyond this, guests who visit the AAA Five Diamond, Forbes five-star Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas – which is set on 24 waterfront acres, built directly into the side of Pedregal mountain and only accessible via the privately owned Dos Mares Tunnel – can take the experience up a notch higher. Through a partnership with Schubach Aviation, a Southern Californiabased private jet charter, the resort is offering a Private Passport to Pedregal package through the end of the year. It includes a private, round-trip flight with Schubach Aviation into the Cabo San Lucas International Airport from anywhere in the United States for a group of four to eight people. Once landed, groups are whisked away via private transfer to the resort for a seven-night stay in an expansive and elegant two-bedroom ocean view villa. The suite offers a private plunge pool and terrace with ocean views, butler service, a fire pit, daily in-room afternoon guacamole and beer, and 24-hour room service. Guest will also receive daily breakfast. The package also includes a personal concierge who is able to arrange more than a dozen local excursions, including the opportunity to swim with 40-foot whale sharks; snorkeling and scuba diving; personalized tours with naturalists, farmers and local artisans; and yachting. Wheels Up membership rates vary and the Private Passport to Pedregal rates start at $25,896. Learn more at www.waldorfastoria. com.
