Every day is “sundae” at Sweet Republic, the beloved ice cream parlor that offers 20-plus flavors daily – including sorbet and vegan options – made with only all-natural ingredients, including milk and cream from independent Arizona dairy farms. Solely crafted in-store in small batches, each flavor’s base is made with a professional machine. Then, ingredients – including everything from homemade caramels and brownies to ripe bananas and blue corn – are stirred in by hand. Flavors rotate daily and include twists on traditional options, including salted butter caramel swirl, Belgian chocolate and Madagascar vanilla, as well as more innovative combinations, such as jalapeno avocado, strawberry buttermilk, and honey blue cheese. Prices start at $3.85 for a scoop and $9.50 for a pint, and there are milkshakes, floats and sundaes on the menu as well. 9160 E. Shea Blvd. Scottsdale; 480.248.6979; www.sweetrepublic.com.
