On March 16 to 22, the LGPA Founders Cup will return to Phoenix to celebrate its 10th anniversary at the Wildfire Golf Club at JW Marriot Desert Ridge Resort & Spa. The tournament, which is the only LPGA event in Arizona, will feature a full field of top female golfers who will compete for a $1.5 million prize. This year, the event will debut a food truck fest, the Founders Museum with memorabilia from the oldest women’s sporting organization, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2020, and much more to celebrate the past decade. Attendees can expect to see local, national and international sensations such as world No. 1 defending champion Jin Young Ko, and major champion Valley residents Cristie Kerr and Anna Nordqvist, who is an eight-time LPGA winner.
