Light Bright Spring Mask

Recipe provided by Kimberly Smith with Rejuvena Health & Aesthetics (www.werejuvenate.com). This blend of organic and ayurvedic ingredients will brighten everything it touches. These special ingredients bring out the light from within by detoxifying and regulating your skin’s natural oil production. Ingredients: 1 teaspoon coconut sugar 1 teaspoon raw honey/royal jelly combo (can be found in specialty stores or online) ½ teaspoon vanilla bean powder ½ teaspoon licorice powder ½ teaspoon pearl powder Juice of ½ organic lemon/and or orange Instructions: Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and apply to freshly cleansed skin. Leave on for 15-20 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. Pat dry and apply go-to moisturizer.

New in Town ChopShop Opens at The Promenade Original ChopShop, a neighborhood eatery crafting “Just Feel Good Food” from whole ingredients, opened its sixth Valley restaurant in The Promenade. The 2,900-square-foot interior features a cozy atmosphere, sunny accents and distressed wood. A 600 square-foot patio offers crafted tables and benches, yellow umbrellas, festoon lights and custom planters. The restaurant’s interior can accommodate 72 guests, while the outdoor patio seats an additional 36. The menu offers protein bowls, acai and pitaya bowls, freshsqueezed juices, protein shakes, salads and sandwiches that are made from scratch on-site with real, quality ingredients. To celebrate the new location, Original ChopShop will host a Feel Good, Share Good campaign March 1-15, where North Scottsdale area fans may sign up on Facebook (www. facebook.com/originalchopshop) for a chance to receive a complimentary protein bowl for themselves and a friend.
