Richland County Health and Human Services has a full-time opening for an Adult Protective Services (APS)/Crisis Professional in our Behavioral Health Services Unit. The position is responsible for providing Emergency Mental Health Services and Elder Abuse and Adult-at-Risk Services. Duties include conducting assessments for emergency detentions, voluntary hospitalizations, and Chapter 51 Commitments and Settlement Agreements with master’s level staff oversight. Also responsible for maintaining a client treatment caseload, communicating with crisis contract agencies, and coordinating with court systems.

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field is required, as well as a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Experience working with Chapter 51, 54 and 55 of the Wisconsin Statutes and consumers with mental illness or substance use disorders preferred. The wage range is $23.25-$24.30 per hour and includes State of Wisconsin Public Employees group health insurance, WRS retirement, and other fringe benefits package.

Service Technician Assistant

Recondition and repair all equipment components and systems as assigned by the Service Manager and under the supervision of a Senior Technician. Maintain good working records for time, parts, supplies and outside purchases in repairs.
