2023 BID SPECIFICATIONS FOR SEAL COATING SEE NEW DUE DATE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Bloom Town Board will accept sealed bids for Seal Coating Town roads until Midnight, Monday, April 10, 2023. Bids must include proper bonding and proof of insurance and should be mailed to: Town Chairman Calvin Brown, 21790 County Hwy D, Richland Center, WI 53581. Bids will be opened with possible action on Tuesday April 11, 2023 at about 8:00 PM, at the Bloom Town Hall at 13775 County Hwy H, Bloom City, WI.

Pre-coated chips to be furnished by bidding contractor

Contractor to furnish PG 58-28 5% Cutback Liquid Asphalt furnished and blended at a State of Wisconsin and AASHTO certified liquid asphalt production facility, proportioned with certified scales and power mixer blended to specifications, heated to 350 degrees and applied. Copies of the asphalt tanker slips delivered for this contract with proper I.D. and dates are to be given to the Town Chairman within 3 working days. Contractor to haul, place, and roll aggregate, which will be provided by the Town. Contractor must provide all machinery, labor, and other necessary incidentals to properly clean, Seal Coat, and roll Town Roads. Gravel roads must be watered and rolled before Seal Coating. Contracts must include a 1-year written warranty. The Town of Bloom reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or to accept the bid most advantageous to the Town.
