OBITUARIES
DOLORES ALMA DANZ October 27, 2019 Dolores Alma Danz, 90, of Hillpoint died Sunday, October 27, 2019 at the Richland Hospital. She was born on August 9, 1929 in Peoria, Illinois the daughter of Cleo Elton and Mamie Hodson Stout. Dolores attended high school in East Peoria and attended Fort Wayne Bible College. On May 2, 1953 Dolores was united in marriage to Ben Danz and he preceded her in death on August 25, 2001. Dolores worked at Foster Gallagher which is a mail order house. Dolores was a devout Christian, who was always kind and loved the Lord. It showed in all she did for her family and the love she showed others around her.
Dolores was a founder and charter member of Bethany Missionary Church in East Peoria, Illinois. After moving to Wisconsin, she became a longtime member of the Richland Baptist Temple in Richland Center. Dolores is survived by 3 children: Steven Danz of Hillpoint, Karen (George) Shuflat of Knoxville, Tennessee, Gary Danz of Hillpoint; 4 grandchildren: Mark Danz of Richland Center, Josiah Arrington of Muscoda, Michael (Amy) Arrington of Knoxville, Tennessee, Jennifer Arrington of Nashville, Tennessee; 12 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ben, daughter Kathleen, granddaughter Shelina Sweat, and 3 sisters Elsie Stout, Dorothy King, and Bernadine Marteness. Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at the Pratt Memorial Chapel from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Burial followed in the Richland Center Cemetery. The family suggests memorials in Dolores’s name be directed to the Richland Baptist Temple. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements
