ARDELL E. TURNIPSEED

January 16, 2020 Ardell E. Turnipseed, 98, of Gillingham, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Pine Valley Community Village following a brief illness. She was born on May 13, 1921 the daughter of Buford and Eva (Janney) Braithwaite. She attended school at Syresville through 8th grade. She married Alvie Turnipseed on September 24, 1938. Together they farmed on the Turnipseed homestead until his death in 1973. Ardell continued to live on the farm until August of 2017 a total of 80 years. She enjoyed her yard, flowers, and playing cards with family and friends. Ardell

Beauty Salon in Richland Center. Suzi later worked at Jacobson-Bender Mobil Station before going on to work for Kroger’s/Roundy’s. Suzi is survived by her brother George ‘Wilbur’ Parkhurst of Sextonville, sister Ginger Parkhurst of Sextonville, nieces, nephews, special pets: Sophie and Scout, other family and friends. Suzi was preceded in death by her parents and brother Greg Parkhurst. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the Pratt Memorial Chapel with burial to follow in the Sextonville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements. Funeral services were held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the Pratt Memorial Chapel with burial having followed in the Fancy Creek Cemetery. Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the Pratt Memorial Chapel from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM. January 15, 2020 Georgia ‘Suzi‘ Parkhurst, 63, of Richland Center, died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at home. She was born on December 24, 1956 in Hillsboro, the daughter of Joseph and Phyllis (Kallies) Parkhurst. Suzi grew up in Sextonville and attended Richland Center Schools. After graduation she attended beauty school in La Crosse and worked many years managing Gold Room
