TODDLER ART PLAY GROUP (PARENT/CHILD)

ENGINEERING FOR KIDS – JULY SUMMER CAMP

Dates: Full Session: Mon, 7/9 - 7/30 program #0011.970 Mini Session: Wed, 7/11 & 7/18 program #0012.981 Time: 10:00-11:00 AM Ages: Walking toddlers to 4 years old with accompanying adult Location: Center Ground Studios (302 E. Lincoln Street) Fee: Full Session $100.00* NEW Mini Session $50.00* Min/Max: 5/10 Registration Deadline: 7/2 This class will allow children to investigate and learn through hands-on art and sensory experiences. Give your young artist the gift of creativity and messy fun and connect with other parents/caregivers—all while someone else cleans up! Parents/caregivers, please plan to accompany your artist during the class. Useful tips and tricks for supporting creative learning at home will also be available. Min/Max: 10/20 Registration Deadline: 7/16 Instructor: Engineering For Kids of Dane County Instructor Session #1 – Game On! Dive into the endless world of Roblox and create your own games! Roblox is one of the fastest-growing game creation platforms on the planet, with more than 60 million players per month and top developers making over $1 million a year. Learn how to use Roblox Studio to create your own 3D worlds and then use LUA to code game mechanics. Publish, share, and play games with friends on any platform from console to mobile. Session #2 – Minecraft Modding & Programming: Become a better crafter and gain valuable Java programming skills when you learn how to build personalized Minecraft mods. Make mods for your very own Minecraft server. Build your own custom weapons, make a rapid fire bow and arrow, or armor that lets you fly. You’ll start by programming using a drag and drop interface that lets you learn Java code without having to type everything out. As you get better and understand the code better, you can transition to writing pure Java to get things working exactly the way you want! Invite up to 25 friends to play on your own server, playing it the Minecraft world you created!

Dates: 7/16 – 8/16 Max: 40 children per session Registration Deadline: 6/28 This program is being offered for boys and girls ages 4 – 8. This program stresses the fundamentals of soccer and sportsmanship in a fun, relaxing atmosphere where all participants get equal playing time. Participants need to wear soccer cleats or tennis shoes and shin guards. Please bring a water bottle. Volunteer coaches are needed! We will be having a coaches meeting and clinic before the program begins, so full knowledge of the sport is not necessary. Along with the clinic, we will be providing coaches with a packet of soccer skills and drills. Please follow the schedule below for location and time of each session. A t-shirt is included in the fee.
