Then he will take a three-month tour of Europe, and the back to Australia to his wife, and job. Maurice is not a faithful man. When he got back, he had met another woman, but he didn’t tell his ex-girlfriend about that until after they had sex. Betsy is his ex-girlfriend. She gets very upset when Maurice tells her that he met another girl in Australia. She is just complaining the whole time. In the end she takes a lamp and struck him in the face over and over again.

She is just sitting there pretending that everything was alright. 3. The main conflict in the story is that Maurice is coming back to London to pick

Sause for the goose Discussion

1. “Sauce for the goose” means the same as karma which is what happened. He

could also name the story „Watch your step“ because Loren died because he didn‘t see what was on the stairs, and both Olivia and Stephen both died because they walked in the freezer but the door closed. 2. Olivia killed Loren because Stephen made her do it and she was in love with

him. Stephen wanted to kill Olivia because he was never in love with her. He only wanted the money. Olivia tried to kill Stephan because Stephan tried to kill her, if she wouldn‘t kill him, he would kill her first. 3. They both died in the freezer in the basement. Stephan was trying to set up a

trap for Olivia, but the door closed, and it was impossible to open it from the inside. Olivia was trying to make her report credibly by walking inside, because she knew he was in there dead. I could not see this end coming so I find it shocking. 4. I feel sympathy for Loren because he did not do anything wrong. He just

wanted to make her wife feel good, but she was just trying to kill him all this time.

Andy sais he didn´t murder them, he sais he planned on convicting suicide and that was why he bought the gun and that he did go to a bar but he didn´t say no such thing as the bartender said he had and Andy sais he did go buy cigarettes but he didn´t remember buying any dish—towels. Andy said he did go outside of Quentin´s house the night of the murder but that by midnight he was sobering up so he went home to sleep it off. 9. it took them seven years to become close friends. 10. seven men and try to get them to give you parole. That is when you are released into the world on some conditions. Usually the conditions are that you have to go and see a parole officer a couple of times a week and you can ´t leave town until some time. Murderers do not have good luck with parole hearings and Andy Dufresne did not do well in the parole hearings. Andy was a model prisoner but did not get any wotes on getting on parole. 11. look and small size the sisters, who are gay mans, were after Andy. The sisters raped him and one morning Bogs, one of the sisters, was found badly beaten in his cell, after that Bogs did leave Andy alone and the other sisters didn’t go as hard on him but though they still continued. Andy adjusted him self to the sisters-and then, in 1950, it stopped almost completely. 17. A screw is a prisoner warden 18. Andy gave Red two pieces of quarts that were both carefully polished.

A) What I like about this course is that you get the freedom you don’t get in

other courses. For me it is a new way of studying because I have never done it like this before. You have to organize yourself to be able to do all the assignments well, which I failed to do in the magazine assignment. I think I just learned more by failing to organize myself in that assignment. B) I liked the individual assignments more than the group work, because I

could do them on my way and make them like I wanted them to be. So I liked the webpage assignment.and leaflet assignment most. C) The short stories all had a wierd and a fun end and it was okay to read

read them. I did not know who Stephen King was, but it is quite amazing how many good books he has made.
