Located in Midtown Sacramento's historic Chatterton Building, Antiquité is an expression of a tradition and elegance of times past. In keeping with a rich history as a 1920’s retail Antique Salon, Antiquité offers a select collection of art and antiques. Antiquité is a unique distinctive retail venue whose antique furnishings create an interior design well suited for a variety of special occasions.

The stunning two-story Mediterranean offers an “old world” intimacy and the romance of a classic Maison Privée or Private House. For special occasions, celebrations, and events Antiquité’s Main Salon, adjoining courtyard and Antiquité Midtown Winery will comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests. Considered "the Jewel of Midtown" Antiquité is an antique store with a welcoming atmosphere where you may relax while browsing our collections or host your event.

There are many special places in the Capital Region. For almost a century one of them has been located in the heart of Midtown Sacramento. Just off the corner of 21st & P Streets stands an iconic building that both captures the essence of the city's inhabitants and inspires awe in the souls of first-time visitors alike. It's known as the Chatterton Building and it's where we call home. And what a home it is.

The distinguished facade beams with pride and displays the quiet humility that comes with the character of age. The many windows and ornate details form it's unmistakable regalia, even when watching the day-today of cars and pedestrians cruising down one of Sacramento's main transit arteries. Inside, the widereaching concrete floors of this noble building once housed the showroom for Lovell's Antiques and were oft-time filled with antiquities and rarities that delighted Sacramento collectors and enthusiasts.

Nestled behind the main room, the Chatterton Building holds one of its most unique features, a fullyoperational urban winery and tasting room. In our Midtown winery, we crush the grapes, barrel-age the juice, and then bottle and finish our annual Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon harvest from the Stags Leap district in the glorious sun-bathed Napa Valley. Alongside our vintage, we proudly offer distinctive local sourced wines that guests can sample in our luxurious tasting room or adjacent courtyard. Yes, we said courtyard.

Connected to the main building and the urban winery, the Chatterton Building complex guards one of its most inviting amenities, an expansive tree-lined courtyard that lights up with bistro lighting as the sun goes down over the Sacramento skyline. Whether hosting a private event, art show, or community gathering, we think that summertime is better al fresco.
