Coyle’s recording of sky and sea began in 1999 from photographs snapped while swimming in the sea. Courtesy: Kevin Kavanagh Gallery, Dublin BRIAN DOYLE’s work explores sound, music and sculpture as independent forces. He is most compelled by the space where sound, images and objects interact and intersect. Intentionally combining a visual object with sound presents an almost limitless set of further metaphoric possibilities. DAMIAN MAGEE WEST LATITUDE Two paintings of Ireland viewed as an island from Galway Bay. Locating the islands in objective space, Magee creates documentary/historical context with which to explore the relationships between geography and social, cultural and political identities.
